Hey, I’m Teresa! I am a Vietnamese illustrator and cover designer based in Atlanta.
My passion for art within books and games led me to pursue a career where I am able to illustrate my own artistic visions. I focus a lot on fantasy worlds and mystical elements in order to create illustrations for people to become immersed in. Creating art serves as a way for me to reflect my artistic interpretation of books I’ve read and show all the stories I want to tell.
My biggest inspirations growing up were Avatar: The Last Airbender, Lord of the Rings, Kingdom Hearts, and Harry Potter. I love escaping into nature so some of my hobbies include hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains and reading literature in my town’s botanical garden which are all strong influences in my creative process. I gravitate the most towards fantasy and romance books in general probably due to my hyperfixation on both Lord of the Rings and Pride and Prejudice growing up (cause who wasn’t in love with Mr. Darcy). My other interests are playing cozy games on my Nintendo Switch, and eating my weight in food, especially desserts. I also tend to be pretty organized knowing that I would get nothing done if I don’t write it down; I live by Gantt charts and to do lists religiously.
